Analysis: Texas has yet to even off Mbake so there is no confirmation if Mike Yurcich is interested in the wide receiver. However, right before Ewers’ commitment, Mbake tweeted out “I’m going with the top QB in my class.”
Not only is Ewers the top quarterback in the class but he is the best player in the country. Assuming Mbake sticks to his word, the Longhorns would have a blue-chip wide receiver to go along with their new quarterback.
