The FCS spring football season will kick off Saturday.
Tarleton State will host McNeese State at 7 p.m. EST from Memorial Stadium in Stephenville, Texas.
Frank Wilson is in his first season as head coach at McNeese State. He came to McNeese State after serving as head coach at UTSA, compiling a 19-29 record from 2016-19.
Wilson served as wide receivers coach at Tennessee in 2009 under Lane Kiffin.
Ronnie Letson is serving as McNeese State’s offensive coordinator. He played and coached for David Cutcliffe at Ole Miss. Letson also served as an offensive analyst at Alabama in 2013 and as Director of Player Personnel at Georgia in 2014.
He came to McNeese State after five seasons as quarterbacks coach at Colorado State.
Ahead of the McNeese State-Tarleton State contest, Letson joined the show “Tennessee Two-A-Days” to discuss his career and the 2021 FCS spring season.
