Everything Steve Sarkisian said to the media on Monday ahead of Oklahoma matchup

“We’re healthier than we’ve ever been (at quarterback) since the start of the season.”

Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian spoke with the media on Monday and covered a variety of topics.

The second-year head coach appeared to be pleased with Texas’ performance against West Virginia and previewed the upcoming rivalry game against Oklahoma on Oct. 8.

Much of the attention entering the Red River Rivalry will be around both teams starting quarterbacks. It’s unclear if Dillon Gabriel or Quinn Ewers will be healthy enough to get the start.

Sarkisian did reveal that Texas is healthier at quarterback right now than they have been since the start of the season, which is promising news that Ewers could potentially return against the Sooners.
