ESPN college football analyst Kirk Herbstreit has taken notice of Wisconsin’s six-game winning streak that has the Badgers primed for a spot in the Big Ten championship game come December.
Just a few short weeks ago, Wisconsin was hoping to get back to even on the season after dropping three of their first four games. Since then, the turnaround has them sitting at No. 15 in the College Football Playoff rankings with a chance to see Ohio State in Indianapolis.
The nation has taken notice, whether it be of Jim Leonhard’s FBS-leading rushing defense, true freshman running back Braelon Allen running over tacklers, or the improved play of quarterback Graham Mertz. Here is what Herbstreit had to say about the turnaround:
