The Philadelphia Eagles have promoted veteran cornerback Trevor Williams up from the practice squad to the 53 man roster. Williams was signed by the Eagles to a reserve/future contract during the 2020 offseason after spending the first four years of his career with the Chargers (2016-19) and Cardinals (2019).
Williams originally entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Chargers in 2016, after playing collegiately at Penn State, where he earned All-Big Ten honors following his junior and senior seasons.
