The Seattle Seahawks will meet the San Francisco 49ers next Sunday night, with the NFC West title on the line. The Seahawks could find themselves as the No. 5 seed and that would mean a trip east to play either the Philadelphia Eagles or Dallas Cowboys.

If the Eagles defeat the Giants or the Cowboys lose to the Redskins, Philadelphia will be NFC East champs.

Whoever meets Seattle will find the Seahawks a bit banged up after tailback Chris Carson, who departed with a hip injury in the second quarter was deemed out for the season. Seattle also lost backup C.J. Prosise for the season with a broken arm.

With only rookie Travis Homer at tailback, the Seahawks are set to meet with Marshawn Lynch per ESPN.com.

Lynch, 33, rushed for 376 yards and three touchdowns in six games with the Raiders last season.

Seattle is already missing four starters, defensive end Jadeveon Clowney (core), cornerback Shaquill Griffin (hamstring), free safety Quandre Diggs (ankle) and left tackle Duane Brown (knee/biceps) have all been out.
