Eagles agree to deal with former Falcons free agent WR Olamide Zaccheaus

The Philadelphia Eagles are signing free-agent wide receiver Olamide Zaccheaus to a deal

Olamide Zaccheaus made our list of five veterans Philadelphia should target at the wide receiver position, and on Wednesday, Howie Roseman made a move.

The Eagles agreed to a deal with the former Falcons pass catcher.

A little on the small end at only 5-foot-8, Zaccheaus could assume multiple roles for Philadelphia after a career-high 40 receptions, 533 yards, and three touchdowns last season for Atlanta.

The Eagles have one of the top wide receiver duos in the NFL, but the depth behind A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith leaves much to be desired.

Quez Watkins is a solid No. 3 wideout, but if the season started today, either Britain Covey, Tyrie Cleveland, Greg Ward, or Devon Allen would be the fourth option on the outside.

Philadelphia could address the position in the NFL draft,  but it now appears that Howie Roseman will use those assets on key personnel.
