The Texas Longhorns have been active in the NCAA transfer portal recently.
First-year head coach Steve Sarkisian has added a handful of incoming transfers throughout his short tenure at Texas thus far, highlighted by Alabama linebacker Ben Davis and LSU linebacker Ray Thornton.
On the flip side, several Texas players chose to pursue opportunities elsewhere over the last few months. Whether it was during the 2020 season under former head coach Tom Herman or after Sarkisian’s staff was hired, over 10 players have since committed to another program.
