The Dallas Mavericks (23-21) continue their road trip Monday night against the Oklahoma City Thunder (19-26). Tip-off is at 8:10 p.m. ET at the Chesapeake Energy Arena. Below, we analyze the Mavericks-Thunder odds and lines, with NBA picks and predictions.
Dallas plays the second game of a five-game road trip and after losing its last two games. It is the first time since Feb. 1 the Mavericks have had consecutive losses. They currently are eighth in the Western Conference and have a fairly strong hold on a play-in series berth.
The Mavs are four games out of sixth place, which does not have to participate in a play-in series, and three games ahead of 11th place, which would put them out of the play-in series completely.
The Thunder lost the first two games of their four-game homestand. They are 2.5 games out of 10th place in the West and a play-in series for the postseason. Since Feb. 19, Oklahoma City has not won or lost more than two consecutive games. The Thunder have the fifth-worst home record at 8-14.

Mavericks 110, Thunder 99
Money line (ML)
The Thunder will be without their three top scorers in Gilgeous-Alexander, Bazley and Dort. Their lack of success at home this season makes them a bad bet in this game and the Mavericks have been great at bouncing back after losses.
You could bet the Mavericks (-450) for a sure chalky play but there is no value. A better play is to look to the spread and at the total for your wager.

Against the spread (ATS)
Despite the Thunder’s overall 19-26 record, they have performed relatively well against the spread. They are 23-21-1 ATS, although they failed to cover in their last two losses and are 8-13-1 ATS at home.
Playing as the underdog is nothing new. Oklahoma City has not been favored in a game since February 21. Dallas is 20-24 ATS this season but 12-11 ATS on the road.

Over/Under (O/U)
The Mavericks have the league’s sixth-lowest Over percentage at 43.2%. Six of their last eight games have gone Under the total and four of the last six for the Thunder have also gone Under.
