For the number 88, Cedric Reed immediately comes to mind. Reed played for the Longhorns from 2011-2014. He accumulated 18.5 sacks in his career, most of those coming in the final two seasons on the Forty Acres. Reed had a career year during his junior campaign. He led the Big 12 with five forced fumbles. Reed would also rank third in the conference with 16 tackles for loss, along with 10 sacks. Most recently he played in the XFL for the Los Angeles Wildcats.

Both Kai Jarmon (WR) and Daniel Carson (DL) wear the number 88 currently.
