Ryan Baer would be a huge recruit for the Michigan State coaching staff to land. Not only because Baer is bigger than a bear at 6’8″ and 330 pounds, but he is a 4-star offensive tackle as well.

Baer is fresh off of his Michigan State official visit, one he uniquely took starting on Monday and concluding Wednesday afternoon. Per his Twitter page, Baer seems to have enjoyed his time in East Lansing.

Not only did Baer enjoy East Lansing enough to rave about it on social media, he is now canceling his official visit to Notre Dame that was planned for this upcoming weekend.

The Spartans could be closing in on a big-time recruit. They are in competition with Illinois, Kentucky, and Virginia, all whom he has now visited. It appears to be coming down to MSU or Kentucky though.

Baer is a native of Eastlake, Ohio just outside of Cleveland.
