Last year USC had laughable recruiting efforts. The Trojans class finished ranked 53rd in ESPN’s ranking system and they landed just one player listed in ESPN’s 2020 version of the 300, wide receiver Gary Bryant.
Clay Helton and his staff have bounced back nicely though as they already have five commitments from ESPN 300 players in the 2021 class.
With 11 commitments already USC has what is seen by all of the recruiting outlets as a current top 15 class. Now can the Trojans win enough in 2020 to keep Clay Helton around to try and develop the talent he’s attracted to Southern California?
