Charles Barkley calls the Sixers the ‘Cleveland Browns of the NBA’

Charles Barkley compares the Philadelphia 76ers to the Cleveland Browns.

There is no doubt that the 2019-20 season has been frustrating and a disappointing one for the Philadelphia 76ers. There was a lot of hype around them and they are sitting at the 6 seed in the East and they have a lot of issues that need to be addressed.

That was not the plan for them this season as there was a lot of hype surrounding them and there were high expectations of being at the top of the East and eventually win a championship. That’s what happens when you make the moves they made in the offseason.

Former Sixers great Charles Barkley, who has criticized the Sixers in the past, went at them again on Thursday before their matchup with the Milwaukee Bucks. He called them mentally soft and he compared them to the NFL’s Cleveland Browns who were also a hyped team and they failed to meet expectations.

The Sixers are sitting at 31-20 on the season as they hold the best home record in the NBA at 22-2, but they sit at 9-18 on the road as they have had serious struggles on the road. They have got to figure it out as the season continues on to reach their NBA championship expectations. [lawrence-related id=25106,25083,25085]
