Yesterday we reported the news that former Ohio State and current Los Angeles Chargers’ defensive end Joey Bosa has become a rich, rich man after a massive five-year contract extension that is just shy of “all the money in the world.”
That followed news of Bosa’s new ranking in the NFL’s Top 100 listing that has been a preseason staple on annual basis in recent years. Last season, Bosa was ranked at No. 56 which is pretty good in its own right, but the human wrecking ball has has moved all the way up to No. 34 in 2020’s NFL Top 100.
The elder Bosa was an immediate force upon his arrival during his rookie campaign in 2016. That year he was named the NFL’s Defensive Rookie of the Year, finishing the season with 41 tackles and 10.5 sacks in just 12 games.

He has followed that with two Pro Bowl seasons, 2017 and 2019, and has a bright, bright future. He is one of the most feared edge rushers in today’s NFL, and as long as he remains healthy should continue to separate himself as one of the best in today’s game.
