When former Bengals receiver Chad Johnson was at the height of his receiving powers, he was always good for a solid quote, or newsmaking antic. However, he was also a pretty special player in Cincinnati. He led the NFL in receiving yards in 2006, and made five Pro Bowls during his career.
He’s now been out of the NFL for eight years, but he clearly thinks he’s still got something left in the tank. He has been openly campaigning to help assist with the “training” of former Ohio State and current Detroit Lions cornerback Jeff Okudah.
According to Lions Wire, Chad “Ochocinco” had recently been working out with Jaguars first-round corner C.J. Henderson and the topic of Okudah must have come up along the way.
So, Johnson reached out to Okudah via Twitter, requesting to line up against the OSU first-rounder. He even offered to trespass at the Lions facility just to show that his skills haven’t diminished.
@jeffokudah Now I’m waiting to line up with you, you can’t run forever & i will trespass at the Lions facility if necessary‼️

Okudah took notice and quickly asked Johnson to drop a location pin so they could get together.
Drop a 📍OG. https://t.co/KOQtEmo0W9

We haven’t been able to confirm this has actually happened, or that there is a plan in place, but it would be a fun drill session to watch, and I can only imagine the amount of trash-talking that would go on here from the 42-year old Johnson.
