The Badgers’ NCAA Tournament hopes are hanging by a thread following a home loss to Rutgers last week.
In CBS Sports’ latest bracket, Wisconsin was the first team out of the field, quickly followed by Big Ten rival Penn State in the first four out section.
Wisconsin has four regular season tests left to improve their resume before the Big Ten tournament. The Badgers host Iowa on Wednesday before heading to Michigan on Sunday. Wisconsin finishes up the regular season at home against Purdue and then at Minnesota next Sunday.
The Badgers have to go at least 2-2 to have a fighting chance of a tournament berth headed into the Big Ten tournament.
