The Pittsburgh Steelers on the board again, 50-yard TD pass Ben Roethlisberger to James Washington

Ben Roethlisberger wanted to get James Washington more involved with the Steelers’ offense.

Monday against Washington, the Pittsburgh QB showed why.

After the PAT, it was 14-0.

Watch: Pittsburgh Steelers’ Chase Claypool with spectacular catch

Ben Roethlisberger found Chase Claypool for another incredible catch

Chase Claypool continues to do the amazing. His catches would be fantastic for any NFL wideout, let alone a rookie.

Check out the amazing grab by the former Notre Dame star as Ben Roethlisberger found him deep in Washington territory on Monday.

The completion was good for 30 yards,

Pittsburgh Steelers tie NFL record with sack in 69th straight game

Who do the Steelers share the consecutive-game sack mark with?

The Pittsburgh Steelers are known for a ferocious defense through generations of players and coaches.

Under Mike Tomlin, the Steelers are no different and when they took down Alex Smith on Monday, Pittsburgh equaled an NFL record for most consecutive games with a sack.

The sack of Smith was by Robert Spillane.

They share the mark with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and will look to take it on their own Sunday against the Buffalo Bills?

Report: Pittsburgh Steelers-Washington Football Team won’t air nationally on FOX

Where will you have to be to get the Steelers-Washington game on a FOX affiliate?

The rescheduled Pittsburgh Steelers-Washington Football Team game on Monday won’t be broadcast nationally on FOX.

Pittsburgh is only undefeated and looking to improve to 12-0. What’s a team have to do to merit a national broadcast?

Per Awful Announcing:

As (JP) Kirby noted, local on-screen guides on this may well not be accurate, and this is a decision made above the level of the local stations. There hasn’t been an official explanation for it yet, but it may be about numbers of games contractually required for Sunday Ticket. (Kirby also said that those who have Fox affiliates impacted by the Tegna-DirecTV dispute will not be able to watch this on Sunday Ticket.)

At any rate, this is an interesting situation. And it means that Monday night’s early game will not be watchable for many people who live outside those red-shaded regions and don’t have Sunday Ticket. And with the Steelers currently 11-0, there’s a lot of national interest in this one. But there will be a lot of potential viewers who won’t be able to watch it.

NFL announces schedule changes for Weeks 12, 13 and 14

The NFL schedule has seen a few changes in the upcoming weeks

The COVID-19 issues plaguing the Baltimore Ravens have led to three postponements of the game with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The league moved the game from Thursday to Tuesday and now to Wednesday.

The domino effect caused other games to shift, too, and the league announced what those moves are on Monday.

There was also a shuffle of one of the games in Week 14. The Packers-Lions game will kick in the late-afternoon window.

Washington pick-6 against Dallas is no, um, Sweat

Montez Sweat took the ball out of Andy Dalton’s hands and had himself a pick-6

[jwplayer Vq5dAbak]Montez Sweat was in Andy Dalton’s face in the fourth quarter and the first-round pick in 2019 from Mississippi State picked off the Dallas Cowboys’ quarterback and sealed the Washington Football Team’s Thanksgiving romp.

Check out this play. The return went 15 yards and after the PAT it was 41-16, which is the way the NFC East game concluded.

Watch: Antonio Gibson scores third rushing TD for Washington

Antonio Gibson found the end zone three times for Washington

The Washington Football Team has found its back for the present and future in Antonio Gibson.

The rookie from Memphis, a third-round pick, 66th overall, devoured the Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving.

The icing on the three-TD performance was a 37-yard TD run that made it 34-16 after the PAT. Gibson was over the 100-yard mark for his effort, which saw him also score from 5 yards and 23.

Touchdown Wire’s Doug Farrar told everyone about Gibson’s explosive abilities long before he was chosen.

Watch: Doomsday for Dallas as Cowboys’ fake punt fails miserably

The Washington Football Team and no one else was fooled by the Dallas Cowboys’ fake punt

This one must have looked better in the playbook because it certainly didn’t translate to the field.

The Dallas Cowboys were trailing the Washington Football Team in the fourth quarter on Thanksgiving when McCarthy decided to try some special-teams trickeration.

It failed. Horribly.

Watch as the WFT comes up huge and doesn’t give the play a chance.

The flip went to Cedrick Wilson, who didn’t make it back to the line of scrimmage.

4th & 10 at DAL 24

(12:54 – 4th) (Punt formation) C.Wilson right end to DAL 23 for -1 yards (C.Luke; K.Hudson)

That’s straight from the NFC East playbook of 2020.

Washington capitalized as Antonio Gibson scored his second rushing TD from 23 yards to make it 27-16 after the PAT.

Watch: Terry McLaurin runs down Jayon Smith after interception

Jaylon Smith of the Cowboys smelled the end zone but Terry McLaurin wasn’t about to let that happen.

This wasn’t quite DK Metcalf tracking down Budda Baker. The concept was the same.

Dallas Cowboys LB Jaylon Smith picked off Alex Smith and was headed for the end zone.

However, Washington Football Team wideout wasn’t about to let that happen and took off and caught Jayon Smith from behind after giving the linebacker a good 10-yard head start.

The pick and the tackle:

Strangely, Joe Buck pronounced the game about to be tied on FOX. However, the WFT defense came up huge and limited Dallas to a field goal that brought the Cowboys within 20-16,

Watch: Andy Dalton finds Amari Cooper for Dallas Cowboys’ TD

Andy Dalton and Amari Cooper connected for a 54-yard touchdown pass

The Dallas Cowboys took until the second quarter to find the end zone against the Washington Football Team on Thanksgiving.

They did it in style as Andy Dalton connected with Amari Cooper for a 54-yard touchdown that gave the Cowboys the lead.

The game was between NFC East teams with 3-7 records that are still in the thick of the division race … somehow.
