As for Club Brugge, with a win, they could get one of the few spots for the third team in a group. They drew PSG 1-1 the last time these two teams battled.

They’ll look for some type of result again as they travel to France for this match.

If there is a playable wager here, it’s the draw at +500. PSG, easily upon the French Ligue 1, is by far the better team, but they’re injured, and in no way, need to win this game.

Sergio Ramos and Julian Draxler are both out as well, hurting PSG’s backline and midfield. Given the non-urgent condition of this game, PSG may not play Mbappe or Messi anyway.

While I’m still not confident about it, I think seeing a sluggish PSG side wouldn’t be unthinkable. Also, Club Brugge is fighting for their lives. They’re 3rd in the Belgian league and have scored 32 goals in 17 games.

They can put up goals and should be able to get at least against a susceptible PSG side.

Over/Under (O/U)

BET on the UNDER 3.5 (-105). PSG is going to be down a key defender, a key forward and a key midfielder. That’s a perfect storm for not getting a plethora of attempts.

While their depth should help them prevail, scoring in bunches likely won’t be their expertise in this one. PSG has scored 1 goal in their last 2 Ligue 1 matches. They have just 9 in 5 games in Group A action, giving up 7.

Club Brugge has also struggled to score, averaging just a goal per game. Put the averages together, and you get around a 2-1 game which is what I expect.

While Manchester City is one of the most competitive teams in the EPL, they’ll be without two superstar midfields, Kevin de Bruyne and Jack Grealish, who are respectively listed as out and doubtful.

Behind goals from Rodri, Raheem Sterling and Bernardo Silva, City still defeated Everton in EPL action this past weekend. They lost 2-0 to PSG in the team’s first UCL match.

As for PSG, they’ll be down Sergio Ramos, listed as doubtful. M Julian Draxler is also listed as out. However, their world-class trio of Neymar, Kylian Mbappe and Lionel Messi are all active.

PSG is the clear top dog in Ligue 1, the French top league. Led that by trio, they’ll give one of the EPL’s best defenses some problems as they head to England on Wednesday.

The attacking PSG trio is in and should be able to get by City at least once. Along those lines, there is some concern as to how City’s midfield will hold up without two of the best in the sport.

PSG held City scoreless in their first meeting, and City hasn’t given us much reason to believe in them in big-time games. Aside from their 2-0 loss earlier in UCL play, they drew Liverpool 2-2 and beat Chelsea 1-0 in EPL action.

With PSG nearing full strength and having had success against City before, I wouldn’t bet against a side that has the talent that they do. With that in mind, I may play a draw for a small unit if anything.

Over/Under (O/U)

BET on the UNDER 2.5 (+145) as the better side of the total. Given only two goals were scored last time these two faced off, the value is there for these odds.

City has given up 7 goals in 4 UCL games, but that goes down to just 5 in 3 without their previous loss to PSG. They’ve scored 15 but were held scoreless the first go around.

As for PSG, while their goals weren’t lucky, they may not get the same bounces this time around. Man City has allowed just 6 goals in 12 EPL games. Their backline, led by veteran Kyle Walker, is elite.

The PSG attacking trio hasn’t quite looked as good as many were expected either, so I would bet this game is more low scoring than high scoring.

They’re still sitting atop Group F in the Champions League and have scored 8 goals while giving up 7.

La Liga’s Villarreal are led by 24-year-old Dutch F Arnaut Groeneveld. He has 5 goals in 9 starts, but is doubtful for Tuesday’s contest. They are tied with 7 points in UCL action but sit in second in Group F as Man U won 2-1 the last time these two met Sept. 29.

“LEAN” on VILLARREAL (+180) as it’s the more competent side at the moment. The last time these two teams took the pitch, it was a 95th-minute Ronaldo goal that sent United away with three.

United was actually outshot in the first meeting, and with Pogba and Mason Greenwood (one of the team’s top scorers) out, getting the ball to the elite forward is going to be easier said than done.

Villarreal is slipping in league play, winning just 3 of 13 games, but it also lost just three while recording seven draws. While its form hasn’t been great it hasn’t lost four of its last five games like Man U.

It’s just not a good idea to back United right now. This is a more a fade against United than a bet on Villarreal.

Over/Under (O/U)

BET on the UNDER 2.5 (-107) as Villarreal doesn’t have an elite offensive side and their opponent is missing two of its key distributors. Man U being without Greenwood and Pogba is huge, and it means the serves to Ronaldo may not be at the same level as normal.

Scott McTominay and Nemanja Matić just haven’t done a good enough job in league action, and with those key pieces against out, they’ll be asked to do too much.

Villarreal has scored just 15 goals in 13 La Liga matches and has scored 5 goals in four UCL matches, so they aren’t necessarily a thriving offense either.

With that in mind, I’d shy away from betting on goals in this one. Both teams played a scoreless first half the last time they took the field.

With the best midfield in the world led by M Jack Grealish and M Kevin de Bruyne, Man City aren’t only among the best teams in Group A, but they’re also a top-five club in the English Premier League.

They’ll again draw Club Brugge, one of the best teams in Belgium’s top league.

Brugge took down Leipzig and impressively drew PSG. Brugge is currently the No. 2 team in the Belgian Pro League. They’ll be without D Éder Balanta on Wednesday.

20-year-old F Charles De Ketelaere and 22-year-old M Noa Lang, a duo that respectively have 7 and 9 combined goals and assists, lead Brugge into this competitive battle with one of the world’s best clubs.

While I don’t hate the BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE at +115, I’d much rather have that as Brugge has scored in every UCL game so far this campaign. It’s at least something to consider as this money line is one to stay far away from.

That said, given that Brugge is competitive and did draw PSG, I’d stay away from either the Man City money line or the draw, the value respectively just isn’t there.

I’d never bet a -1000, and at the same time, I wouldn’t back a +900 draw as City is one of the best clubs in the world.

Over/Under (O/U)

BET on the OVER 3.5 (-135) as Man City has been running throw lower-level UCL clubs. They put up 6 on RB Leipzig and 5 on Club Brugge in Round 1.

While they’ve struggled in the EPL, Man City did have back-to-back games of 5 and 4 against Brugge and Brighton. Having struggled over their last two, this should be a match that Man City regains its confidence.

With F Phil Foden and F Raheem Sterling both looking to solidify their role in the starting XI, Man City should be looking to feed their stars and keep the depleted Brugge backline busy.

Brugge also allows over a goal per game and nears two per game on the offensive end. They should be able to help the total by getting one of the board.

Neymar and then players like M Angel di Maria and F Mauro Icardi should be able to still produce goals. It’s hard to quantify the impact of life without Messi and Mbappe, but Leizig has been that bad defensively in UCL action.

Also, PSG took down RB Leipzig and Man City in their last two matches, so they should be primed to continue their hot streak. Easily the best side in Ligue 1 action, expect PSG to come out on top despite being short-handed.

It’s really the only way to bet the money line.

Over/Under (O/U)

“LEAN” to the OVER 3.5 (+115) for a fraction of a unit.

The attacking prowess will still be alive, and Leipzig, while they are without key players, still have M Emil Forsberg and M Christopher Nkunku, both of which have four goals in Bundesliga action.

They will, however, be down D Lukas Klostermann, who has six starts on the season. His absence could hurt their already-weak defense. Down defenders and with attackers still present, RB Leipzig may force a score-heavy match.

With that in mind, I expect both sides to get on the board, but I think betting on more than three goals is always risky, especially without Mbappe or Messi.

Given the scenario, a small unit is a good move for the total.

United should be able to prevail with Pogba in the middle and F Cristiano Ronaldo up top. While its lost its UCL opener to BSC Young Boys, it was down to ten men when both of the Young Boys’ goals were scored.

Man U is a sound side despite defensive struggles against top-tier sides, but Atalanta doesn’t have the same pace as a club like Liverpool. Atalanta is 0-1-1 in two matches against top-tier Italian clubs.

Given those struggles against elite competition and Man U looking confident following its victory over Tottenham, I’m taking the slight favorite, especially with the plus-money value.

Over/Under (O/U)

“LEAN” to the OVER 3.5 (+130) as both teams couldn’t find much traction defensively in their last outing. There were a total of 15 shots on target last time they faced off.

I expect a similar total as Man U gave up 5 goals to Liverpool just two weeks ago. Having given up 1.6 goals per game in UCL action, Man U has scored 2 or more goals in all three games. The teams combined for 5 in their recent meeting.

Given that both teams have capable forwards and have shown attacking prowess in their league play (Man U averaged 1.9 per game while Atalanta is at 1.8 per game), I think the Over 3.5, especially at plus-money value, is a good bet.

For more than three-and-a-half times the price of a unit, I’d stay away, especially as Man City recently also has a draw against Southampton, a weaker EPL side. The value just isn’t there for the favorite.

What I would consider is betting BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE at -105. Man City has 6 goals in 2 UCL matches.

They had 17 shots but were shut out by PSG. As for Club Brugge, they score well over a goal per game in league play and have scored 3 in 2 games in UCL action.

Both teams have an elite attack with the ability to break through an opponent’s backline. Twenty-two-year-old F Noa Lang is being targeted by top-tier EPL clubs. He’s the real deal, and if he sees action, he could produce.

With Grealish, de Bruyne and many other greats on the opposing side, Man City should manage at least one, potentially many more as well.

Over/Under (O/U)

BET on the OVER 3.5 (+133) as Brugge is more like RB Leipzig than PSG. They’ve given up 13 goals in 11 games in the Belgian league.

Against an elite Man City attack spearheaded by their midfield and more than likely F Raheem Sterling up top, City should be able to score at will in this match. Brugge has a great attack, notching 20 goals in those 11 games.

Without Ederson and coming off a Saturday match against Burnley in which they gave up 7 shots to a weak Burnley, Man City could easily give up a goal or two as well.

At the money-back value, betting for many to be scored is worth the wager.

With F Kylian Mbappe and Neymar on the roster, PSG will have no excuse when it comes to netting goals. In champions league play, PSG has defeated Man City and drawn Club Brugge.

That said, Neymar and Messi are both doubtful for this event.

As for RB Leipzig, they were involved in a nine-goal match with Man City earlier in UCL action and then also lost 2-1 to Club Brugge despite a fifth-minute goal.

BET on PSG (-175) as the best bet. For a team that’s been improving with its new personnel, PSG should get the job done. They drew Club Brugge a month ago and have since defeated Man City, one of the world’s best teams.

That said, this is great value for the best team in France against a mid-tier German side. M Ángel di María will be out as well, but PSG’s midfield should still be able to serve the three-headed monster with M Marco Verratti.

23-year-old F Christopher Nkunku has had all four of Leipzig’s UCL goals. He’s expected to play, potentially helping the PSG odds reach favorable levels.

At -175, it’s worth play given the level of talent on the roster. While PSG is banged up, they’re still the clearly more talented side.

Over/Under (O/U)

BET on the OVER 3.5 (+115) as the best value bet in this match. PSG has a dynamic attack, and in both league play and UCL play, Leipzig has shown a weak defense.

They allowed six to Man City and then two to Brugge. Against top-tier opponents, Leipzig has struggled to keep up.

PSG is another highly lethal attack, and it’d be shocking to see them tamed by a club that has struggled to limit even lower-level German clubs. PSG should be able to net several goals behind the star-studded trio.

Also to note, PSG hasn’t been perfect. They didn’t allow a goal against Man City, but luck was on their side as Man City took almost double the shots as PSG. In league play, they’ve given up a goal per game.

Leipzig has scored in both UCL matches so far, against even a strong Man City defense. Expect the road side to get on the board at least once as well.

Villareal hasn’t impressed in La Liga play, so that’s a bit more reassuring. However, it has given up just 3 goals through 6 games in league play. Man U has given up 5 tallies through 6 games.

Given the stout defenses, I’d put a unit on ONE TEAM TO NOT SCORE (-116).

BET on the UNDER 2.5 (+110) as the defenses should limit the opponent’s attack.
