Cassius Winston wouldn’t go down this time…

On Wednesday night, Cassius Winston was either caught off guard or simply not ready for what teammate Russell Westbrook was bringing in the pregame chest bump. But the next night was a different story.

Winston was knocked over by Westbrook in Wednesday night’s pregame chest bump but on Thursday he stood tall — and he celebrated with a flex afterwards!

Check out the back-to-back night pregame chest bumps below:

This has been an ongoing bit between Winston and Westbrook this NBA season, and has been pretty amusing to watch. Good for Winston, though, for not dramatically tumbling to the ground this time.

WATCH: Russell Westbrook knocks over Cassius Winston after pregame chest bump

Cassius Winston and Russell Westbrook have developed quite the pregame ritual.

If you have been following Cassius Winston’s NBA journey, you have probably started to notice that he and Washington Wizards teammate Russell Westbrook have a fun pregame ritual. The two point guards do a leaping chest bump, and Cassius dramatically falls to the ground to hype up his star point guard and presumed mentor.

It is, quite frankly, one of the funnier things in the NBA this year.

Many Michigan State basketball fans remember Bryn Forbes for his time as a sharpshooter in East Lansing.

Forbes has carved himself out a nice little career in the NBA as a role player,  first with the San Antonio Spurs and now with the Milwaukee Bucks.

Forbes dialed back the clock to his Michigan State days against the Houston Rockets, going 11-for-17 from the field and 6-of-10 from 3-point territory to put up a career-high 30 points on Thursday night in Houston.

WATCH: Miles Bridges hits backwards circus shot against Milwaukee

Miles Bridges had the internet buzzing after he hit a backwards, no-look circus shot against the Bucks.

Miles Bridges has been a highlight machine all season, especially since he joined the starting lineup of the Charlotte Hornets following an injury to Gordon Hayward. While most of his highlights tend to be dunks, he hit an insane midrange, no-look circus shot on Tuesday night against the Milwaukee Bucks that had people buzzing.

Bridges would finish the game, a loss for the Hornets, with 21 points, 10 rebounds, 6 assists and 2 blocks as he continues his torrid pace scoring the basketball.

Miles Bridges adds Buzzer Beater to his growing highlight reel

Usually when you see Miles Bridges make a highlight reel play, it’s a high-flying dunk or alley-oop dunk or a poster dunk.

Usually when you see Miles Bridges make a highlight reel play, it’s a high-flying dunk or alley-oop dunk or a poster dunk. This time he decided to show off the range as he beat the buzzer in the 3rd quarter to extend the lead to 12.

Bridges stole the ball at the Celtics three point line with 3.1 seconds left, and started to dribble the ball up court. He crossed half court with about two seconds left and started to pull up from 29-feet away. Jayson Tatum came and contested the shot, but Bridges was able to get his shot above the extended arm and was able to beat the buzzer to extend the lead to 100-88.

The Hornets went on to win 125-104 as Bridges was able to record 20 points, six rebounds and three assists in 34 minutes of action. The Hornets improved to 30-30 and are currently the 8th seed in the Eastern Conference. Bridges and the Hornets next game is tomorrow against Bryn Forbes and the Milwaukee Bucks at 7 p.m. EST.

WATCH: Xavier Tillman throws down one-handed dunk over Rondae Hollis-Jefferson

Xavier Tillman had his first big NBA poster dunk for the Memphis Grizzlies with a big slam over Rondae Hollis-Jefferson.

Xavier Tillman has been one of the most surprising rookies in the NBA this year, at least for people who didn’t watch him play for Michigan State.

Tillman has been the second Spartan to join the Memphis Grizzlies front court, following his old pal Jaren Jackson Jr., and he has been showing out all season. On Sunday, he showed off something he hasn’t done too much of though when he went over the top and dunked on Trail Blazers forward Rondae Hollis-Jefferson.
