The 2023 NFL schedule has been released, and the Philadelphia Eagles will face seven quarterbacks that led 2022 playoff teams.

NFL Network predicts outcome of every Eagles game in 2023

NFL Network’s Adam Rank is sharing his early game predictions for the Philadelphia Eagles in 2023, and his final record prediction might surprise you.

Philadelphia is coming off a 14-win season, the best regular finish in franchise history, and a 38-35 loss to the Chiefs in the Super Bowl.

All was not lost, as the Birds retooled in the draft, landing Jalen Carter and Nolan Smith with their two first-round picks.

They then swung a draft night trade for Lions running back D’Andre Swift after signing Rashaad Penny in free agency.

Even with all the personnel and coaching staff changes, there are high expectations for Philadelphia heading into 2023.

The Eagles’ schedule is the NFL’s most challenging slate of games, and the experts are predicting a drop-off thanks to a brutal seven-week stretch starting before the bye.

We shared our way-too-early game-by-game predictions back in May, and now, NFL Network’s Adam Rank is doing the same.

Here’s a look at how Rank sees each game shaking out for the Eagles in 2023, which includes a surprising record.

We’re looking at the NFL expert predictions for the Philadelphia Eagles 2023 regular season schedule

The Eagles released their full, 17-game schedule for the 2023 season, and it’s one of the most difficult in recent memory.

Nick Sirianni’s team will play six games against the NFC East, four games against the AFC East, four games against the NFC West, and one game each against the Vikings, Buccaneers, and a 17th contest against the Chiefs.

The NFL experts have revealed their 2023 predictions, and Philadelphia isn’t projected to dip below ten victories, without only one pundit believing the Eagles will face a dip in win totals.

How will Thursday Night Football flex scheduling impact the Eagles?

We’re looking at how the NFL new flex scheduling for Thursday Night Football could impact the Philadelphia Eagles

The NFL is the most significant business in town, and that could have teams playing two games in four or five days multiple times thanks to a new proposal.

Adam Schefter reports that NFL owners have approved a proposal allowing flex scheduling for Amazon’s Thursday Night Football in a move that will undoubtedly impact the Philadelphia Eagles.

The scheduling can start in weeks 13-17, teams can only be flexed twice on Thursday night, and the NFL has to give the selected teams 28 days’ notice before announcing the move.

Raiders owner Mark Davis was among a group led most notably by New York Giants co-owner John Mara – who didn’t support the proposed scheduling tweak in primetime Thursday games.

The move now provides the NFL’s newest streaming partner with more attractive matchups later in the season.

3 potential trap games for the Eagles during the 2023 NFL season

We’re looking at three potential trap games for the Philadelphia Eagles on their 2023 regular season schedule

The NFL is the one professional sports league with the most parity, and although there are no cakewalks, there is undoubtedly the recipe for an unexpected disaster.

Philadelphia will enter training camp as a Super Bowl favorite while being tied for the highest over/under total in terms of wins.

Still, there’s always a possibility of a slip-up.

With that, here are three potential trap games for the Eagles in their 2023 schedule:

Jason Kelce on Eagles starting from the bottom: It’s going to be harder than last season

Jason Kelce says this season is going to be harder for the Philadelphia Eagles and they’ll be starting from the bottom

[connatix div_id=”3f8b015acdd24c648befc5d5dac47469″ player_id=”afe1e038-d3c2-49c0-922d-6511a229f69c” cid=”7cbcea0d-4ce2-4c75-9a8d-fbe02a192c24″]

The Eagles are starting from the bottom this spring, working to forget everything about 2022 as the team works to make history in 2023.

Philadelphia has retooled on both sides of the ball, they’re no apparent weaknesses, and their franchise quarterback has been signed to a long-term deal.

Even with all of the preseason hype, the legendary Jason Kelce is saying not so fast, predicting this season will be much more complicated than the last.

Kelce returned for his 13th season after considering retirement, and the challenge of repeat success was most instrumental.

“In some ways, it’s going to be harder. When you do win and have a successful year, all offseason, all the offenses are looking to steal things that you do well. All the defenses are looking to stop the innovative, creative things that you’re doing so you have more eyes on you. You have more time being spent around the things that you do structurally. We have a lot to prove and it’s going to be even harder to have a really, really good season.”

The Eagles added Rashaad Penny to the offense during free agency and then acquired D’Andre Swift on draft night, while also selecting three more Georgia Bulldog defenders.
