The Miami Dolphins went out and earned their sixth victory of the season on Sunday, as they defeated the New England Patriots 31-17 at Hard Rock Stadium.

Miami didn’t have their most dominant performance in their second game against the Patriots this season, but they did just enough to win by multiple scores despite key contributors missing and/or leaving during the contest.

As we do after each game, we’ve put together some of the best pictures from the matchup, and this will be one that most will want to remember.

Former Dolphins LB retires just a week after being released

After playing three games for the Dolphins in 2023, the LB called it a career.

Just over a week ago, the Miami Dolphins announced that they’d released linebacker Chase Winovich from their practice squad with an injury settlement after he appeared in three games for the team this year.

Now, Winovich has taken to social media to announce his retirement from professional football.

Winovich, 28, was originally selected by the New England Patriots in the third round of the 2019 draft following a career at Michigan that included two First-team All-Big Ten selections.

After spending three seasons with the Patriots, he was traded to the Cleveland Browns. He spent one year with the Browns before joining the Houston Texans this offseason, but following his release during roster cuts, he joined the Dolphins practice squad.

In 56 career games, Winovich recorded 107 tackles, 26 quarterback hits, 12 sacks, one interception and a forced fumble.

At least we got some good pictures, right?

The Miami Dolphins went out and were handed their second loss of the season on Sunday, as they were defeated by the Philadelphia Eagles 31-17 at Lincoln Financial Field.

Miami started off a bit slow, as they couldn’t get much push to have success running the ball. On top of that, penalties were killer throughout the game, with 10 of them being called on the Dolphins for 70 yards.

With the Eagles bringing an offense that features Jalen Hurts, A.J. Brown. DeVonta Smith and D’Andre Swift the Dolphins just couldn’t keep up.

Report: Dolphins CB Jalen Ramsey to return to practice Wednesday

The Dolphins are getting some reinforcements back at practice on Wednesday.

While the Miami Dolphins have been battling the injury bug early in the season, they seem to be getting some reinforcements back in the near future.

According to NFL Network’s Cameron Wolfe, Dolphins cornerback Jalen Ramsey will return to practice on Wednesday.

Ramsey suffered a meniscus injury in just his second training camp session with the Dolphins this summer, and after surgery and rehab, he’s ready to get back to work.

Wolfe states that Ramsey won’t play this weekend against the Philadelphia Eagles, but he will be back on the game field soon.

Once Ramsey officially hits the practice field for the first time, it will start his 21-day window to be activated from injured reserve. If he isn’t activated by then, he’d be forced to miss the remainder of the season.

After this Sunday’s matchup with the Eagles, the Dolphins take on the New England Patriots at home and the Kansas City Chiefs in Germany before their Week 10 bye week.

The Miami Dolphins went out and earned their fifth victory of the season on Sunday, as they defeated the Carolina Panthers 42-21 at Hard Rock Stadium.

Miami started off slow, allowing the Panthers to build a 14-0 lead in the first quarter before they marched back and scored three touchdowns in the second and 35 straight before Mike White’s pick-six in the fourth quarter.

This was an impressive win despite it being against a winless team because they could’ve tapped out when things started to pile up in the first quarter, but they showed resiliency and were rewarded for it.

AFC East Week 6 recap and standings: 3 teams earn victories

A look around the AFC East in Week 6.

Week 6 brought another slate of NFL games that included some entertaining duels and some absolutely shocking upsets across the league.

After six weeks, the AFC East has one team at the top again – the Miami Dolphins at 5-1.

Miami took on the winless Carolina Panthers at Hard Rock Stadium without two of their starting offensive lineman. Mike McDaniel’s squad fell into an early 14-0 hole after the first quarter. They stormed back with 35 straight points, including three touchdowns in the second quarter to eventually secure a 42-21 win. While they were glad to see the outcome, they’d probably rather win games without having to crawl back.

The Bills remained in second place in the division after downing the New York Giants on Sunday Night Football. New York was without starting quarterback Daniel Jones and two starting offensive linemen, but they hung around to make it a game. Buffalo despite having a solid rushing attack, couldn’t put it all together, partially due to two turnovers. The Giants even had the ball twice inside the Bill’s five-yard line and walked away with zero points, proving Buffalo was a bit lucky to have survived.

Robert Saleh’s New York Jets are still in third place in the AFC East after pulling off one of the biggest surprises of the weekend, as they beat the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, 20-14. Entering the matchup, the Jets had never beaten the Eagles before, but that changed when Jalen Hurts threw three interceptions and D’Andre Swift lost a fumble. New York was without their top two cornerbacks due to concussions, forcing them to start two practice squad call-ups. They were still able to stifle the defending NFC champions. Despite not having Aaron Rodgers, the Jets have definitely entered frisky territory.

The Patriots are the laughingstock of the division and arguably the league, as they lost to the Las Vegas Raiders at Allegiant Stadium, 21-17. Las Vegas, with their roster and coaching staff made up of former Patriots kept Bill Belichick’s at bay. Even when quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo went down, Brian Hoyer was able to keep New England from capturing the lead. Everything is going wrong for the Patriots, and their 1-5 record says it all.

Week 7 AFC East matchups:

  • Miami Dolphins (5-1) vs. Philadelphia Eagles (5-1)
  • Buffalo Bills (4-2) vs. New England Patriots (1-5)
  • New York Jets (3-3) vs. New York Giants (1-5)

Best photos from Dolphins’ 31-16 win vs. the Giants

Views from another home W.

The Miami Dolphins went out and earned their fourth victory of the season on Sunday, as they defeated the New York Giants 31-16 at Hard Rock Stadium.

Miami’s defense was impeccable, holding the Giants’ offense out of the end zone and getting to the opposing quarterback seven times.

Offensively, Mike McDaniel’s squad had moments of brilliance as well as mistakes that could’ve proven to be costly if they were playing a more capable opponent.

As we do after each game, we’ve put together some of the best pictures from the matchup, and this will be one that most will want to remember.

At least we got some good pictures, right?

The Miami Dolphins went out and took their first loss of the season on Sunday, as they were defeated by the Buffalo Bills 48-20 at Highmark Stadium.

Miami’s offense wasn’t firing on the same level that they had in prior weeks. After scoring two touchdowns early on, they struggled to find the end zone consistently.

Their defense was horrendous, granting Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs the opportunity to move the ball all over the field, including three scores for the duo.
