These are the many quality tackles the Cardinals will face in 2023.
Arizona Cardinals left tackle D.J. Humphries was snubbed from PFF’s rankings of the top 32 tackles in the league, and only one of the tackles in the NFC made the cut, but Arizona will face plenty of them.
In fact, they are scheduled to face 14 of them this coming season, including the top four overall.

The 8-6 Arizona Cardinals take on the 5-9 San Francisco 49ers in one of three Saturday games today. It is the second time the two teams meet. The Cardinals defeated San Francisco 24-20 in the season opener. They need a won to maintain control of the seventh and final wild card seed in the NFC, while the 49ers are now only playing spoiler.

The game kicks off Sunday at 4:30 p.m. ET (2:30 p.m. Arizona time) at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, AZ.
This is a nationally televised game but it is streaming only. It will stream on Amazon Prime Video and also on Twitch. It will also be available on network television in the Cardinals’ and 49ers’ home markets. In the Phoenix area,. it will air on FOX 10 and on KNTV in the 49ers’ home market.
There are multiple broadcast feeds. The main feed which will be on FOX10 and KNTV is with Andrew Catalon and James Lofton in the booth with Sheree Burruss on the sideline. An alternate broadcast feed has Andrea Kremer and Hannah Storm. The scouting feed has Daniel Jeremiah, Bucky Brooks and Joy Davis. The Spanish language feed has Jose Antonio Melian calling the game.
The Cardinals’ radio broadcast will air on Arizona Sports 98.7 FM. Dave Pasch and Ron Wolfley are out this week because of exposure to COVID-19, so Paul Calvisi and Bertrand Berry will call the game.
The Spanish broadcast can be heard on KHOV 105.1 FM. Luis Hernandez and Rolando Cantu will call the game.
The Cardinals radio broadcast can also be heard on Sirius channel 88 and XM channel 88, as well as the SiriusXM Radio app.
The 49er’ radio broadcast will be on the US Bank 49ers Radio Network on KNBR 680 AM/104.5 FM and The Bone 107.7 FM. Greg Papa and Tim Ryan will be in the booth, It can also be heard on Sirius channel 82 and XM channel 227, as well as the SiriusXM Radio app.

The Arizona Cardinals played well in their win over the New York Giants in Week 14 and quarterback Kyler Murray had his best game in a while. His play in the passing game was better than the previous few games.

Another team that really helped themselves this past weekend is the Arizona Cardinals. Not only did their win over the New York Giants move them back into the final playoff spot, but their offense got on track in the win. Kyler Murray completed 24 of 35 passes for 244 yards and a touchdown, and the offense looked more in rhythm than it had in the past month. Murray looked noticeably more comfortable making different reads on Sunday. He did not turn the ball over and made a couple “wow” throws as well.
If he can play how he did against the Giants over the final three games, the Cardinals will be in good shape to make the postseason for the first time since 2015.

The honors are no surprise after he set a franchise record for sacks in a single game.
It should not have been a surprise, but Arizona Cardinals linebacker Haason Reddick has been named the NFC Defensive Player of the Week after his performance on Sunday in Week 14 against the New York Giants. His contributions and the franchise record he set were huge in the team’s 26-7 win.
It is the fifth time this season a Cardinals player has been named a player of the week.
Reddick set a franchise record with five sacks in the game against the Giants. He finished with five sacks, five tackles and three forced fumbles.
He and L.A. Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald are the only players this season to log at least four sacks in a game this season and it is the first time in the league a player has had five sacks since Adrian Clayborn had six in a game in 2017.
Through 13 games, Reddick has recorded 50 tackles, 10.0 sacks, 13 tackles for loss, 15 QB hits, four pass breakups and three forced fumbles. His sack, forced fumble, quarterback hit and tackle for loss totals are all team highs and also represent career highs for Reddick. After not recording more than 4.0 sacks in his first three NFL seasons, Reddick currently ranks No. 6 in the NFL with 10.0 sacks in 2020.
He revealed after the game on Sunday that he had never had more than two sacks in a game at any level previously.
Reddick is the second defensive player of the week for the Cardinals this year. Safety Budda Baker was the other after his play in Week 6. He was also named the player of the month. Quarterback Kyler Murray has been the offensive player of the week twice, after Week 5 and Week 7. Receiver DeAndre Hopkins won it for his performance in Week 10.
It is the most players of the week honors for the team since 2015, when there were six player of the week awards.

An Arizona Cardinals player has been honored for being the Hungriest Player of the Week by Snickers for the second time. After quarterback Kyler Murray was honored for his play in Week 10, linebacker Haason Reddick earns the honors for Week 14. He had five sacks and three forced fumbles on Sunday in the Cardinals’ 26-7 win over the New York Giants.
The title is particularly apropos being a defensive player, as when, in particular, they get sacks, they call it “eating.”
Reddick ate a lot on Sunday. He had five sacks on the season entering Week 14 and had gone five games without on. He ate early and often, showing how “hungry” he was.
The result is the recognition. As part of it, he is passed the Snickers chain from the previous winner. That was Las Vegas Raiders tight end Darren Waller

It was an incredible performance and gives him 10 sacks on the season.
This should not be the only award he wins. He should be considered the favorite to win NFC Defensive Player of the Week.

The Arizona Cardinals played only 49 total defensive snaps on Sunday in their 26-7 win over the New York Giants. For the first time all year, no defensive player played every snap. How was the playing time divided up?

In their 27-6 victory over the New York Giants, the Arizona Cardinals played 79 offensive snaps. Below we go over the numbers for each player in different position groups and what that might mean.
Four players and their performance stood out more than any other.
The Arizona Cardinals picked up a big win on Sunday, defeating the New York Giants 26-7 on the road. It ended a three-game losing streak and gave them possession of the No. 7 seed in the NFC, the final wild card spot, with three games to go.
They got big performances from several players.
Who were the studs in the win?
The Packers took over the No. 1 seed, Washington takes the lead in the NFC East and Arizona regains the No. 7 seed.
The Arizona Cardinals lost their hold on a wild card berth last week with their third straight loss and fourth in five games. At 6-6, they fell behind the 6-6 Minnesota Viking for the final playoffs seed in the NFC.
In Week 14, though, they regained possession of the No. 7. They defeated the New York Giants 26-7 and the Vikings fell 26-14 to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
There was also a change in the NFC East. They Giants and Washington Football Team were tied with 5-7 records entering play on Sunday but New York, because of their season sweep over Washington, held the division lead. New York’s loss to Arizona and Washington’s win over the San Francisco 49ers gave the Football team a one-game lead in the East.
Here is how the NFC playoff picture now looks:
The Cardinals now are once again in control of their own destiny. They must stay ahead of the Vikings because Minnesota holds a common games tiebreaker.
Green Bay clinched its division title and took over the No. 1 seed in the conference with a win over the Detroit Lions, while the Saints lost 24-21 to the Philadelphia Eagles. Both with the same record at 10-3, the Packers own a head-to-head tiebreaker.
The Rams and Seahawks both are 9-4. Los Angeles holds a head-to-head win over the Seahawks so they have the NFC West lead. The two teams will face one another in Week 16.
