The Cardinals bolster special teams with a pair of Saturday roster moves.

He will return to his role on special teams.

The Cardinals also elevated receiver Dan Chisena from the practice squad for the third week in a row. He has played 28 special teams snaps and one offensive snap, collecting a pair of special teams tackles.

Expert picks for Cardinals-Eagles in Week 17

Cards Wire, Eagles Wire and other experts pick the winner in Cardinals-Eagles.

The Arizona Cardinals and Philadelphia Eagles face one another on Sunday in Philadelphia in Week 17. The Eagles are heavy favorites, as they should be.

They have won 11 games and have one of the best offenses in the league.

The Cardinals have only three wins and one of the worst defenses in the NFL.

So who wins?

We have expert picks below.

POLL: Who wins in Week 17 – Cardinals or Eagles?

Vote in the poll – who will win between the Cardinals and Eagles in Week 17?

The Arizona Cardinals’ Week 17 game is on the road against the 11-4 Philadelphia Eagles. The Cardinals close out their road schedule with the second-worst record in the NFL at 3-12 and have only one road win all year.

The Eagles had a three-game losing streak but snapped that on Monday with a 33-25 win over the Giants.

Philly has a potent offensive attack with a very good quarterback in Jalen Hurts, a very good running back in De’Andre Swift and high-end pass catchers with receivers A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith and tight end Dallas Goedert.

They have a great offensive line.

The Cardinals can run the ball and get production in the pass game from tight end Trey McBride. They are awful defensively.

The Eagles are heavy favorites in this game.

But Cardinals head coach Jonathan Gannon and defensive coordinator Nick Rallis have first-hand knowledge of Hurts’ weaknesses.

Can they exploit them and pick up an upset win on New Year’s Eve?

What do you think?

Vote in the poll to tell us who you think will win the game between Arizona and Philadelphia.

The details are below.

Cardinals injury report: QB Kyler Murray questionable vs. Eagles

After missing two days of practice and being limited Friday, Murray is questionable to start against the Eagles.

The Arizona Cardinals released their final injury report of the week for Week 17 on Friday before they traveled to Philadelphia for their game on Sunday against the Eagles.

They ruled out three players before placing two on injured reserve, while four other players, including quarterback Kyler Murra, were listed as questionable.

Lots of player connections between Cardinals, Eagles

The Cardinals have three former Eagles and the Eagles have four former Cardinals on their team.

The Arizona Cardinals face the Philadelphia Eagles on the road in Week 17. One of the big storylines is the return of Cardinals head coach Jonathan Gannon and defensive coordinator Nick Rallis to Philly, as they were on Nick Sirianni’s staff for two seasons before this year.

So there are known coaching connections.

However, there are also a number of player connections.

The Cardinals have three former Eagles, while the Eagles, between the 53-man roster and the practice squad, have four former Cardinals.

Let’s go over them.

Kyler Murray expected to start vs. Eagles despite missing 2 practices

Murray returns to practice Friday after missing two days with an illness.

Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday, having gotten sick after the holidays. However, per head coach Jonathan Gannon on Friday, Murray should be good to go to start on Sunday on the road against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Gannon told reporters Murray would practice on Friday.

He was present for practice on Thursday although he did not participate. On Wednesday, he was not even in the building.

This will be Murray’s seventh start of the season since coming back from his knee injury. He has completed 62.3% of his passes for 1,305 yards, six touchdowns and four interceptions. He has also rushed for 187 yards and three touchdowns.

The Cardinals and Eagles kick off from Lincoln Financial Stadium Sunday at 11 a.m. Arizona time.
