The Tennessee Titans were able to defeat the Jacksonville Jaguars at home with a final score of 20-42, but it wasn’t without a little help from their star running back, Derrick Henry.

The former Heisman winner absolutely dominated the Jaguars defense on the ground off of 19 carries which produced 159 yards and two touchdowns.

His numbers were not the only aspect of his performance in the contest that was impressive, he managed to score both of his touchdowns within 16 seconds of each other.

Yes, 16 seconds.

The Alabama product’s first touchdown was an incredible display of strength and speed, as he ran 74 yards into the end zone while constantly having to push off defenders attempting to tackle him.

Then, on the very next drive early in the second half, Henry was able to punch himself into the end zone for another touchdown to give Tennessee a comfortable lead with plenty of time left to do more damage.

This win over Jacksonville improves the Titans record to 6-5, which places them into second place in the AFC South.

After having a rough start to the season, the decision to stick with Ryan Tannehill over Marcus Mariota has seemingly paid off.

As long as Tannehill keeps up his high level of production and Henry continues his reign of terror on opposing defensive lines, they just might be able to sneak into the playoffs with a Wildcard spot.

Former Alabama star receiver, Calvin Ridley, scored his fifth touchdown of the year in the Atlanta Falcons contest against the Carolina Panthers.

The Falcons beat the Panthers with a final score of 29-3 to improve their record to 3-7 on the season.

Matt Ryan found Ridley in the back corner of the endzone to increase the lead to 26-0.

In the game, Ridley reeled in eight receptions for an impressive 143 yards and the lone touchdown.

Ridley has been the main contributor to this Falcons offense, that has had a rough time getting off the ground. If his production can stay this high, who knows where the future of the Falcons may lie.

Former Alabama Heisman-winning running back Mark Ingram has been a very strong presence in the Baltimore Ravens backfield, and he continued to shine in the team’s 7 – 41 win over the Houston Texans.

Overall, Ingram had 13 carries for 48 yards on the ground, and three receptions for 37 yards and two touchdowns.

Ingram’s first touchdown of the day was this 25-yard pass that ended with a smooth celebration in the endzone.

His second touchdown didn’t come without some display of strength.

This 12-yard touchdown pass to Ingram probably should have been stopped well short of even the first down, but he had his eyes set on the endzone.

This touchdown helped put the nail in the coffin to secure the Ravens win to improve their record to 8-3.

Two former Alabama stars score first NFL TD

Two former Alabama standouts, Irv Smith Jr. and Bo Scarbrough, scored their first career NFL touchdown on Sunday.

Alabama is known for putting impact players in the NFL. With former stars such as Julio Jones, Mark Ingram II and Minkah Fitzpatrick coming up with big plays seemingly every week, it can be hard to keep up with.

Well, add two more former Tide standouts to the list of players who have scored NFL touchdowns this season.

On Sunday, second-year running back Bo Scarbrough, who has bounced around on multiple teams since being a seventh-round pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, scored the following touchdown for the Detroit Lions:

So far on the day, Scarbrough has rushed the ball 12 times for 49 yards (4.1-yard per carry average) and a touchdown against a respectable Dallas Cowboys defense. Pretty nice debut for his new team considering he was just signed to the roster on Saturday.

Scarbrough is not the only Alabama play to score the first career NFL touchdown on Sunday, however.

Minnesota Vikings rookie tight end Irv Smith Jr. also hauled in the team’s only touchdown through so far against the Denver Broncos on this 10-yarder from Kirk Cousins:

Heading into Sunday, Smith has slowly started to become more involved in the Vikings offense with starting wide receiver Adam Thielen out with an injury.

In fact, the second-round pick out of Alabama had 24 receptions for 241 yards (10.0 yards per catch) coming into today. The “Built By Bama” mantra continues to prove its worth each and every week in the NFL.

Former Alabama linebacker Mack Wilson took to Twitter in order to celebrate the Cleveland Browns’ win over the Pittsburgh Steelers, and NFL fans are not too happy about it.

In a game where the biggest highlight was Myles Garrett hitting Steelers quarterback Mason Rudolph in the head with his own helmet, tensions were high.

Wilson tweeted out a photo of him standing next to Steelers wide receiver Juju Smith-Schuster, who was laying on the ground in pain – Smith-Schuster would not return to the game after later being placed in concussion protocol.

Shortly after receiving some backlash, Wilson deleted the tweet and issues this apology:

Here’s what Twitter is saying about the post:

Some fans believe Wilson was happy about the Steelers’ star-receiver being injured.

Others just outright condemned the tweet.

NFL fans were quick to call out Wilson for the post.

‘Yikes’ is probably an appropriate word to use here.

Is Kenyan Drake taking over for Cardinals?

Less than two weeks after being traded from Miami to Arizona, Kenyan Drake is already making waves.

In his first week with the Cardinals, Drake took 15 carries for 110 yards and a lone touchdown. An impressive first outing with his new team.

His Arizona debut came at the right time for him, as David Johnson, their solid back for the last few seasons was inactive.

Johnson has been battling injuries, he spent all of 2018 on the sidelines after sustaining a knee injury.

Drake’s second week with the team was a true test, Johnson was back on the field, so it was a true test to see where he would fit into the mix with the incumbent starter.

In the Cardinals’ contest against the Buccaneers, Drake took over as the lead back.

The Alabama product had 10 carries to Johnson five, along with 35 yards to Johnson’s two.

Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury weighed in on Drake’s success with the team.

“We just felt like with Drake, needed to get something going and kept him rolling,” Kingsbury said. “The last couple weeks, practice, games [he] has brought a little pop to the run game, the pass game, and we felt like he was the guy to try and close the game out with.”

There’s still a relatively small sample size when it comes to what he’s capable of with Arizona, but with plenty of time left in the regular season, he will have the ability to show the Dolphins front office what they are missing out on.

Week 10 of the NFL regular season not only shook football fans, but the ‘Tank for Tua’ rankings as well.

The Dolphins are on a win streak, the Bengals are still winless, the Patriots haven’t won a game in November and the 49ers lost their first game of the season.

All of the aforementioned events have changed the overall landscape of the NFL, let’s dive in and see how this crazy week affected the worst of the worst and if their chances of landing Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa have been hindered.

3. New York Jets

Mandatory Credit: Robert Deutsch-USA TODAY Sports

The New York Jets in Week 10 were able to capture yet another win, this time over their in-state rival, the New York Football Giants.

They are tied for last place in the AFC East, tied with the Miami Dolphins at 2-7, and it seems as if the win column may stay stuck at two for the remainder of the regular season.

The NFL Power Rankings currently has them listed at No. 29, one of the worst teams in the league.

With an inconsistent quarterback, such as Sam Darnold, that ranking may fluctuate higher or lower.

In the Jets’ win over the Giants, Darnold had an impressive outing. He amassed 230 yards, one passing touchdown and a lone rushing touchdown.

While a win must feel nice for the team, it’s still clear a winning culture has not been spread throughout the locker room.

With a team full of talent, there’s only one position on the field to turn to and potentially point the finger. The quarterback.

Whether Darnold is the future of the franchise is still to be determined, but with a lot of elite collegiate talent at the quarterback position in this draft class, it would be hard to believe that the Jets’ front office hasn’t thought about the possibility of bringing in a fresh, and even younger, face, such as Tagovailoa.
