Cardinals to pick 16th in 2021 draft

They have gone from first overall to eighth to 16th in two years.

The Arizona Cardinals have finished the season 8-8 and have missed the postseason. They are now locked into their spot in the 2021 NFL draft. With the regular season over, the top 18 picks of the draft are set.

The Cardinals, who just missed the postseason, will pick 16th in the draft.

The last time they had the 16th pick, it was 2008 when they selected cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie.

They have made progress. They had the first pick in 2019. They were eighth in 2020. They will be 16th in 2021.
