Calvin Ridley was named to PFF’s NFL ‘Team of the week’ for Week 1

Calvin Ridley was so impressive in the Falcons’ season opener, that he was named to PFF’s Team of the Week.

Calvin Ridley opened up the season with a show stopping game.

For real though.

The former Alabama and current Atlanta Falcons wide receiver recorded 2 touchdown receptions for the Atlanta Falcons during the season opener against the Seattle Seahawks.

Although the Falcons came up short against the Seahawks and lost 38-25, Ridley still had an impressive game, and it shows just what he’s capable of this season.

And if this season opener was any proof of what’s to come, the Falcons have a chance to be much better than last season.

He recorded 9 receptions for 130 yards and 2 touchdowns, and accounted for all of the Falcons receiving touchdowns.

He was so impressive, that he was named to PFF’s Team of the Week.
