Ohio State has been on quite a tear lately with a July to remember. First, the Buckeyes got a commitment from J.T. Tuiomolau, one of the top-rated players in the 2021 class. Then less than 24 hours later, Brian Hartline was able to secure another top 20 receiver in the 2022 class, with a verbal commitment from Kojo Antwi. Now OSU has added yet another to next year’s class.
Colorado native, George Fitzpatrick, made his intentions known that he will be heading to Columbus from the Rocky Mountains. Fitzpatrick is a four-star lineman and is the second offensive tackle to commit in the class, picking Ohio State over the likes of Oklahoma, Oregon, Florida, and Michigan.
Fitzpatrick becomes the 17th member to commit to the Buckeye’s 2022 class that is currently ranked No. 1 according to 247 Sports class rankings.
