BOOM! Ohio State gets a commitment from in-state running back

The second BOOM of the day! #GoBucks

The weekend of the spring game is typically a good one for recruiting, and [autotag]Ohio State[/autotag] is capitalizing on it. After getting a commitment from Tennessee tight end Max LeBlanc, head coach [autotag]Ryan Day[/autotag] was looking for more.

Day found it. In-state running back [autotag]Sam Williams-Dixon[/autotag] became the second Buckeye verbal of the day. The 5-foot, 11-inch and 203-pound back is categorized as an athlete by the 247Sports composite, but that should change after its next update.

Although he isn’t ranked high, just the 79th athlete and 677th overall prospect, Williams-Dixon is much better than his ranking. He is the 12th commit of the 2024 recruiting cycle that has recently added some of the top offensive player in the country.
