Twin offensive linemen from northern Ohio have shed their black stripe. Deontae and Devontae Armstrong become the latest members of the Ohio State football team to be officially welcomed to the Brotherhood.
Hailing from the Cleveland area, the brothers attended powerhouse Lakewood St. Edwards in Lakewood, Ohio, where they helped man the offensive line. Deontae played left tackle, and Devontae at left guard. They helped lead St. Ed’s to three straight Division I state championships between 2021-2023.
Both came to OSU as three-star prospects. Deontae was the No. 33 rated offensive tackle in the 2024 class, and Devontae was the No. 31 rated interior lineman.
