Bills release Treyvon Hester via injury settlement

#Bills release Treyvon Hester via injury settlement:

The Buffalo Bills came to an injury settlement with defensive tackle Treyvon Hester and he has been released by the team.

The transaction appeared in Wednesday’s NFL transaction wire.

The Bills originally placed Hester on their injured reserve list on Aug. 28 due to a back injury when the team activated several players, including wide receiver Cole Beasley, from their Reserve/COVID-19 list.

The 28-year-old signed with the Bills in May. He was previously cut in March by the Philadelphia Eagles.

During his career, Hester has made regular season appearances with the Raiders (2017), Eagles (2018) and Football Team (2019). Combined he has featured in 41 games but has only made two starts.

Hester has not appeared in a NFL game since 2019.

Hester was stacked pretty low on a deep defensive line depth chart for the Bills and had a uphill battle to making the team’s final 53-man roster.
