Bills in the 2010s: Best offensive players of the decade

Here are the best players of the 2010s for Buffalo’s offense.

This group also was much tighter than anticipated, as the Bills had three running backs eclipse the 3,000-yard mark for the decade. LeSean McCoy, Fred Jackson, and CJ Spiller all had some degree of success.

Fred Jackson, in his five years in this group of seasons, gets the selection at this point. McCoy might have been more exciting and shifty, but Jackson carried the load for this team quite a bit. While McCoy averaged about 10 .6 rushing yards per game over his time in Buffalo, Jackson, matched McCoy with respect to rushing and receiving touchdowns. Jackson caught 42 more passes than McCoy. Even with McCoy playing 10 fewer games than Jackson, it’s doubtful that the former Eagle could have matched Jackson’s receiving numbers after his dropoff starting in 2018.

Essentially, Jackson’s time was more fruitful than McCoy’s, and he represented a more complete back during his time in Western New York.
