Interior O-line (4)
Quinton Spain, Mitch Morse, Brian Winters, Daryl Williams
Cuts: Ike Boettger, Marquel Harrell, Evan Boehm
Injured: Jon Feliciano
Huge loss for the Bills is clear here: Jon Feliciano. His chest injury is going to keep him out for an extended period, so that triggered the Bills to sign Brian Winters, the former Jet (it also pushed Spencer Long to be cut, who then retired). Quinton Spain and Mitch Morse are back as starters on paper as well.
The rest of the group could unfold in a variety of ways. Evan Boehm is a trade candidate, or could be switched out for Daryl Williams on the final 53. Both have versatility, but Williams has more at the tackle position, while Boehm has his at center. The recently-signed Winters could be Buffalo’s No. 2 center until Feliciano returns, so Boehm could be on the outside looking in.
Feliciano previously predicted that he’ll be back by the time the Bills play the Raiders. That’s Week 4. So the Bills could certainly keep eight offensive lineman through their first three games since he’ll be back.
People should know how good #Jets RG Brian Winters was in week 1..that & more coming.
