Running back (5)

Devin Singletary, Zack Moss, TJ Yeldon, Taiwan Jones, Reggie Gilliam

Cuts: Patrick DiMarco, Christian Wade (roster exemption)

Our big change in this department isn’t exactly the sexiest spot. But now Reggie Gilliam, the Toledo rookie, makes the Bills roster over Patrick DiMarco. At this point in training camp, that’s almost a given. DiMarco provides the Bills with veteran leadership, but his on-field prowess hasn’t been anything Gilliam could handle himself. In fact, Gilliam has flashed his hands a bit in training camp himself. But also to consider: We haven’t even really seen much of DiMarco, considering he’s had a neck injury.

At running back, Devin Singletary and Zack Moss lead the backfield, it just depends how those carries get split heading into the season. TJ Yeldon provides the Bills a veteran option that could be scratched on most game days, just like in 2019. Taiwan Jones, assuming he recovers from a knee injury he suffered in practice, will be an ace special teamer for Buffalo.
