The 2022 Big 12 Conference Baseball Tournament will begin on May 25 at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas.
The double elimination tournament includes the Big 12’s top eight teams broken up into two separate brackets. TCU won the regular-season title and secured the No. 1 seed in the tournament.
One side of the bracket features Texas Tech, Kansas State, Oklahoma and West Virginia. Texas, Oklahoma State, Baylor and TCU will face off in the other side of the bracket.
Putting together a solid performance in the Big 12 Tournament is crucial for several programs involved. Obviously, the tournament champion secures an automatic bid into the 2022 NCAA Baseball Tournament.
However, there’s situations with teams like Texas who will make the NCAA tournament regardless and are just hoping to make a decent run in the conference tournament to strengthen their case for hosting a regional.
