Bengals’ Trey Hendrickson seen getting MRI after injury vs. Texans

Bengals star pass-rusher Trey Hendrickson suffered an injury at the end of the loss to the Texans.

Cincinnati Bengals defensive end Trey Hendrickson apparently needed an MRI after suffering a leg injury late during Sunday’s loss to the Houston Texans.

Well after a play, a Texans player was shoved to the ground and in the process of falling, rolled-up on Hendrickson’s leg. The result was the star defensive end leaving the field with trainers.

Later, Jay Morrison of Pro Football Network noted that Hendrickson went for an MRI in the locker room.

According to Mike Petraglia of CLNS Media, though, Hendrickson didn’t have a notable limp later.

Right after the game, Bengals head coach Zac Taylor said that due to the timing of the injury, he didn’t have any knowledge of severity.

Cincinnati can’t afford to go without Hendrickson, one of the league’s most efficient pass-rushers. But any sort of injury presents a serious problem this week considering they turn around and play the Baltimore Ravens this Thursday.

Update: Hendrickson suffered a hyperextended knee and will miss time.
