Bears safety Eddie Jackson thinks he was robbed of a pick-six vs. Giants

Bears safety Eddie Jackson isn’t happy with the pass interference call on his pick-six in the fourth quarter against the Giants.

The Chicago Bears notched an ugly win over the New York Giants on Sunday to remain undefeated on the season. But wins are hard to come by in the NFL, so the Bears will certainly take it.

There were times in the first half of the game that it appeared the Bears were going to blow out the Giants. In fact, it felt like this game shouldn’t have been this close.

There were missed opportunities on offense for sure in the second half, as they were held scoreless in the final two quarters. But the Bears also should’ve had a defensive touchdown, according to safety Eddie Jackson.

In the beginning of the fourth quarter, Jackson appeared to have jumped Giants tight end Kaden Smith’s route and grabbed his first interception of the season, which he ran back for a touchdown.

But the referees flagged Jackson for pass interference, which negated the score and robbed Jackson of his first takeaway of the season. The Giants would go on to kick a field goal to cut their deficit to four points.

And, as you might guess, Jackson is not happy with the call. Interestingly enough, Jackson hints that the ref might’ve admitted he made the wrong call.

In his career, Jackson has five defensive touchdowns. But he also has two defensive touchdowns that have been negated by penalties.

But in the end, Jackson is just happy his team pulled out the win to remain undefeated this season.
