Former TCU running back Zach Evans commits to Ole Miss
The highest rated running back from the state of Texas in the 2020 recruiting class has found a new home. Former TCU running back Zach Evans announced his commitment to Ole Miss on Thursday. He entered the transfer portal on Nov. 29 and is a significant pickup for Lane Kiffin’s offense.

Former Texas QB Casey Thompson’s top schools
It appears former Texas quarterback Casey Thompson has narrowed down a list of top schools. Nebraska has emerged as the favorite over the last few weeks, but Oklahoma, Auburn, Indiana and Missouri are in the running as well. When Caleb Williams entered the transfer portal, it originally seemed as if Norman would be the go-to for Thompson, but Dillon Gabriel committed to the Sooners shortly after.

Five Big 12 players appear on AP’s All-Bowl team
It’s been an exciting bowl season and five Big 12 players were among the top performers. Marquise Hayes (Oklahoma), Tyree Wilson (Texas Tech), Terrel Bernard (Baylor), Malcolm Rodriguez (Oklahoma State), and J.T. Woods (Baylor) were selected to AP’s All-Bowl team.
With only Monday’s College Football Playoff championship game between Alabama and Georgia remaining on the postseason schedule, AP is releasing its all-bowl team. Ohio State’s C.J. Stroud and Jaxon Smith-Njigba were clear choices.
