Texas’ season ended when the finale against Kansas was canceled due to COVID-19 complications within the Longhorns’ program. Tom Herman will finish with a 6-3 record, having at least three losses in all four seasons as the head coach.

Despite not playing, Texas has moved up two spots in the final regular-season AP poll. The Longhorns are up to No. 21 and are only one of three teams (North Carolina and North Carolina State) who are ranked despite three losses.

As for the rest of the Big 12, Iowa State and Oklahoma are the only other ranked conference teams. The Cyclones are moving closer to the top four at No. 8, while the Sooners moved up one spot to No. 12.
