Alabama’s Nick Pringle in walking boot, updates injury status ahead of Elite Eight against Clemson

Nick Pringle may be in a walking boot, but he’ll be available for Alabama basketball’s Elite Eight March Madness matchup against the Clemson Tigers.

Standout Alabama Crimson Tide basketball forward, Nick Pringle, suffered a foot injury during the Sweet 16 win over North Carolina Tar Heels. As Pringle, Grant Nelson and others prepare to take on the Clemson Tigers in the Elite Eight, we get an injury update.

While wearing a walking boot on his hurt foot, Pringle confidently said that he would be playing in the program’s second-ever Elite Eight appearance.

Even when hurt against North Carolina, Pringle was determined to keep playing. He could be seen limping while on the court, but managed to get to his spots, play some quality defense and hustle up and down the floor.

“Bro, we’re in the Elite Eight. There’s nothing that’s gonna keep me out,” Pringle told Blake Byler of Bama Central.

Pringle has a large presence on the court and his absence would certainly be felt. Having him available for the matchup is big, positive new for head coach Nate Oats and this team.

What time will the Alabama Crimson Tide vs. Clemson Tigers tip-off in the Elite Eight?

Alabama and Clemson will battle for a spot in the Final Four, which would be a first for both programs, in Los Angeles tomorrow, March 30 at 8:49 p.m. ET.
