UCLA lands ex-Cal, Colorado CB in transfer portal

The UCLA Bruins football program has landed yet another transfer portal addition this offseason.

Kaylin Moore, who played his high school football at Oaks Christian in Westlake Village, California has committed to play at UCLA, per Matt Zenitz of 247Sports. The son of former Cincinnati Bengals player Kelvin Moore will be with his third college program.

In 2023, Moore had 14 solo tackles and 24 total tackles. He also deflected a pass. In the bowl game loss to Texas Tech, he recorded two tackles in the game. California finished tied with UCLA for 7th in the Pac-12 last season and finished the season 6-7.

The 5’11, 190 cornerback signed his letter of intent to play at Colorado in December of 2020. He enrolled in June of 2021 and entered the transfer portal in December of 2022. After transferring to California, he entered the transfer portal in April.

It has been a busy transfer portal season, with guys looking to get their final decisions made before the end of the semester across the country. UCLA football will play their first game on August 31st against Hawaii.
