Alabama’s all-time record against Mississippi State

Alabama has simply dominated the Mississippi State Bulldogs for over a century.

Even with the bad taste of Alabama’s loss Saturday night to Texas A&M still in the mouths of the Alabama faithful, it is time to move on and look ahead to this week’s opponent, the Mississippi State Bulldogs.

Alabama and Mississippi State first took the field against each other all the way back in 1896. Alabama defeated the Bulldogs that November day in Tuscaloosa 20-0.

Currently, Alabama owns a 13 game winning streak over Mississippi State. But that is not even the Tide’s longest winning steak against the Bulldogs. The Crimson Tide once owned a 22 game winning streak dating from 1958 to 1979.

Alabama leads the all-time series against Mississippi State, 83-18, and there have also been two ties between the schools.

Kickoff time for this week’s matchup is set for 6:00 pm CT on ESPN.
