Nate Oats continues to hit the recruiting trail hard, and the transfer portal even harder. Today, the Crimson Tide landed Furman forward …

Nate Oats and the Crimson Tide continue to get stronger before the 2021-2022 men’s basketball season. Just a few days after landing 4-star center Charles Bediako and Texas Tech transfer Nimari Burnett, Alabama has secured a commitment from another high-profile transfer.

Forward Noah Gurley, formerly of Furman, announced via Twitter today that he will be playing next season in a Crimson Tide uniform.

Gurley’s first four years were spent at Furman, but will finish his collegiate career under Oats at Alabama.

Last season, Gurley tallied 15.4 points per game and 5.8 rebounds.

There’s no telling what lies ahead for the Alabama basketball team, but all signs point to the program trending upward.
