Alabama lands Brockermeyer brothers, nation’s top OL duo

The Alabama Crimson Tide landed the nation’s No. 1 offensive tackle and No. 1 offensive center on Friday with the Brockermeyer brothers.

Alabama has been on a hot streak on the recruiting trail as of late, and on Friday afternoon, the Crimson Tide landed the No. 1 offensive tackle and No. 1 center for its 2021 class.

Tommy and James Brockermeyer, twin brothers from Fort Worth (Tex.), both made the announcement via social media:

Tommy Brockermeyer is rated as a five-star prospect and the nation’s No. 5 overall player. He’s also listed as the No. 1 offensive tackle and the No. 1 player from the state of Texas, according to the 247Sports composite rankings.

James Brockermeyer, on the other hand, is no slouch himself. He’s a four-star prospect who also checks in at No. 188 overall, the No. 1 offensive center and No. 32 player from the state of Texas.

With the commitments of the Brockermeyer brothers, Alabama now has the No. 6 class (No. 3 in the SEC) for 2021, and those additions could just be the beginning for the Crimson Tide this weekend.
