Alabama football: Ranking top 5 games for 2020

In order to win out, Alabama has to face several tough opponents. Here’s Alabama’s top 5 games for 2020:

The Alabama Crimson Tide found out their full 2020 regular season schedule on Monday. And earlier this month, Alabama also found out which new SEC opponents they would be adding to the schedule this year after the SEC decided to play a conference only schedule, Missouri and Kentucky.

When the SEC made the conference-only schedule decision, Alabama had to cancel their matchups with Georgia State, Kent State, and Tennessee-Martin.

But when you take a moment to think about the SEC teams already on Alabama’s schedule before the conference-only change: Georgia, Ole Miss, Arkansas, Mississippi State, Tennessee, LSU, Texas A&M, and Auburn, Alabama will truly have one of, if not the hardest, schedule in the country.

5 of the teams on Alabama’s conference only schedule are ranked in the top 25 of the The Amway Coaches Poll.

There’s no doubt that Alabama has a tough road ahead of them this fall, but there’s also no denying that if the Crimson Tide finds a way to win out, there’s no way anyone can argue against Alabama being back in the College Football Playoff.

1. Alabama vs Georgia:

This game is big for many reasons. First off, it’s the first time Alabama has faced Georgia since the Tide’s 35-28 win in the 2018 SEC Championship game.

As if that’s not enough of a reason for this to be Alabama’s biggest game, Georgia also has several big name players returning on defense. With Alabama’s star powered offense against Georgia’s impressive defense, this could easily be one of Alabama’s hardest games of the year. Not to mention the two teams face off in Week 4. Just enough games to work through some offensive kinks, but also enough games to start dealing with the injury bug.

All in all, this will hands down be Alabama’s biggest game of the season, for many reasons.
