Alabama assistant, Bryan Hodgson, hired for Arkansas State head coaching job

Alabama assistant set to take Arkansas State head coaching job

Nate Oats and the Alabama Crimson Tide basketball program are finally starting to feel some of the pain that Nick Saban and the football team have felt for nearly a decade. Alabama assistant basketball coach, Bryan Hodgson, is set to leave the Tide at the end of the year to take over the Arkansas State program.

It is a major loss for the Tide as he has been a crucial member of the staff and a key recruiter, but it was a well-earned promotion and Tide fans should feel happy for him. Hodgson has been with Oats dating all the way back to their time in Buffalo and Oats has always spoken very highly of Hodgson.

Hodgson now has the task of turning the 13-20 Arkansas State Red Wolves into a tournament team, but first he will continue to chase a ring with the Tide.
