Panthers having dinner with Alabama QB Bryce Young ahead of pro day

Per MMQB’s Albert Breer, the Panthers’ pro day parade will be breaking bread with Alabama QB Bryce Young tonight.

Carolina Panthers, party of 12.

Fresh off their visit to Columbus to see Ohio State University quarterback C.J. Stroud, the Panthers’ pro day parade heads to Tuscaloosa—where they’ll break bread with Bryce Young. Per MMQB senior NFL reporter Albert Breer, the team’s traveling brass will have dinner with the University of Alabama star on Wednesday night.

The table will be set for Young, owners David and Nicole Tepper, general manager Scott Fitterer, assistant general manager Dan Morgan, vice president of football administration Samir Suleiman, head coach Frank Reich, offensive coordinator Thomas Brown, quarterbacks coach Josh McCown and senior assistant Jim Caldwell.

As they did during their dinner with Stroud, the Panthers will likely leave the X’s and O’s on the field and get to know Young on a more personal level. But this meeting may only be an appetizer, as the 2021 Heisman Trophy winner is set to throw at the Crimson Tide’s pro day in less than 24 hours.
