Ohio State football falls in latest US LBM Coaches Poll after loss to Michigan

The latest US LBM Coaches Poll is out after Week 14 and Ohio State football fell after the loss to Michigan on Saturday in the Horseshoe.

The Ohio State football team had a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day on Saturday in its fourth-straight loss to unranked Michigan. The offense couldn’t get anything going and the game plan left everyone scratching their heads at not taking advantage of the team’s strength.

The 13-10 loss took the Buckeyes out of contention for the Big Ten Championship, and was sure to change the minds of voters in the major polls. One of those, the US LBM Coaches Poll was released on Sunday and, as expected, the Buckeyes fell, checking in at No. 8.

The Oregon Ducks remained at the top of the poll followed by Texas (2), Penn State (3), Notre Dame (4), Georgia (5), Tennessee (6), and SMU (7) ahead of the Buckeyes. Rounding out the top ten were Indiana (9), and Boise State (10).
