Four-star offensive tackle recruit Dennis Uzochukwu mentioned via social media that he has major announcement coming up. Uzochukwu, a Georgia State Panthers commitment, recently received a scholarship offer from the
Georgia Bulldogs.
“Big announcement coming soon,” said Uzochukwu. The 6-foot-6, 285-pound offensive tackle has been committed to Georgia State since July.
The four-star is projected to flip his commitment to Georgia, per On3 and 247Sports. Uzochukwu recently visited UGA for the UMass game.
Former Georgia assistant Dell McGee is now the head coach at Georgia State. Uzochukwu’s decommitment would sting for Georgia State. The four-star is one of Georgia State’s top commitments in the class of 2025.
The elite offensive tackle prospect plays high school football for Peachtree Ridge High School in Suwanee, Georgia. On3 ranks Uzochukwu as the No. 189 recruit in the nation and the No. 22 prospect in Georgia. The four-star is the No. 16 offensive tackle in the country.
Uzochukwu also plays high school basketball and has attended the several Georgia football games this year. The Peachtree Ridge standout has good athleticism, length and mobility. He would be a welcome addition to Georgia’s top-ranked recruiting class. The Bulldogs have commitments from four offensive linemen in the 2025 cycle, so they have room to add a fifth commitment.
