Several Texas Longhorns have seen their draft stock rise over the last few weeks.
Defensive tackle Byron Murphy appears to be a lock as a first round pick and should be the first Texas player taken off of the board in the 2024 NFL draft. However, tight end Ja’Tavion Sanders appears to be making his way up a few draft boards recently as well.
In NFL.com’s latest three-round mock draft from Chad Reuter, Sanders was projected to the Miami Dolphins in the first round. The second round was flooded with four other Longhorns projected.
Outside of the first three rounds, offensive tackle Christian Jones, linebacker Jaylan Ford, and wide receiver Jordan Whittington should hear their names called on Day 3.
Here’s a look at where each Longhorn lands in Reuter’s mock draft.
