Lady Vols score highest point total in SEC play during Kellie Harper era

Lady Vols defeat Georgia and score the highest point total in SEC play during the Kellie Harper era.

Tennessee (13-7, 6-2 SEC) defeated Georgia (10-11, 1-7 SEC), 95-73, Thursday at Stegeman Coliseum in Athens, Georgia.

95 points marks the highest point total scored by a Lady Vol team in Southeastern Conference play during the Kellie Harper era.

The Lady Vols led, 41-24, at halftime.

Jewel Spear totaled 25 rebounds, five rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block. She was one of three Tennessee players to score 10-plus points against the Lady Bulldogs.

Rickea Jackson scored 21 points and Tamari Key added 12 points for Tennessee. Jackson also recorded six rebounds and five assists.

Tamari Key had 10 points, eight rebounds and one block for the Lady Vols.

De’Mauri Flournoy led Georgia with 18 points. Asia Avinger finished with 15 points, seven rebounds and four assists for the Lady Bulldogs.
